The Life of Bri

Catcher in the Eye

Finally got round to fitting the child-locks on all the kitchen cupboards tonight. (Little Miss B has just this week learned how to take the box of dog biscuits out of the cupboard and spread them round the kitchen floor, and there's been a few near misses with bowls and plates.)

I'm not totally convinced they will keep her fooled for long though - but at least it might keep the dogs out.

A busy day at work where I actually learned some useful stuff and built something that might be useful again and again. Not often that happens.

I also tweeted my first tweet. I'm pretty sure no-one was listening. Not sure I will bother to repeat the experience.

And came home to find that BT had 'restricted' our phone because they couldn't be bothered to collect the direct debit this month, and therefore assumed that this customer who hasn't missed a bill payment in the last 4 years was obviously about to do a runner. And then they make it almost impossible to find a way of speaking to a real person (without searching various non-BT customer forums), and absolutely impossible to speak to someone who has English as a first language. </rant>
