Rhubarb Rhubarb

On a miserable day with rain, dark skies and morning snow! The first rhubarb of the year in Smilies fruit and veg shop looks even more colourful.
I'm not a huge fan of rhubarb maybe it's because that most of the time I associate it with dull unimaginative British cooking, crumbled or filling a pie with loads of sugar added to obscure the sour taste.
I expect the French do something wonderful with it.
