Hercules, Chirk Castle, Wales

Another grey day but at least it was dry for a few minutes.

We are just down the road from Chirk Castle which is a great place for a walk and a wander.

Hercules the statue dates from circa 1720 but had been missing presumed dead for many years before he was refound in the nearby woods in 1983

The photo was converted to black and white (although the colour version is pretty much black and white anyway) put into Photoshop and then given a more aged look.
