Afternoon at "The Boot"

The Boot is my kind of pub; real ales, people in fancy dress, improvised picnics, live music, lots of characters, and today some of my best friends.

Meet Kent. Known him for years. Best man at my wedding, put us up for three months while we were trying to buy a house.

He is gentle, shy and very kind. He is a complete gentleman, polite and proper to a fault, but sometimes you can see that glint in his eye. That's why I like this photo.
