Saw my favourites the Ringtailed Lemurs who were all cuddled up inside, one spooned into the other in a long furry line.
Still can't bear to see the polar bear though, she always seems to be lying in the same place and looks so so sad. They are recognised as one of the most unsuitable animals to keep in captivity. When you think that a polar bear's natural range can cover an area almost the size of Scotland, it's no surprise that she displays unnatural repetitive behaviours. I wish they would get on and build her promised new enclosure.
The penguins as always were very entertaining to watch in and out of the water, although I couldn't stop thinking of Happy Feet. I swear I saw a king penguin tapping his foot.....
