The Jenson Button Bridge

This new footbridge, the Button Bridge, has replaced an old Bailey traffic bridge that had been closed on health & safety grounds for some years.
I didn't realise the bridge was open - the couple in the photo didn't seem too sure whether or not they could use it...

I thought Jenson was supposed to be coming to cut the ribbon. This isn't as far-fetched as it sounds - Jenson was awarded the Freedom of Frome last year, in honour of winning the Formula 1 World Championship the previous year.

I didn't take this from a very good angle but it was starting to rain - again.
