Today, I'm a dipper blipper!

Feeling so much better today, and was ready to go out whatever the weather. I caught the bus to the upper end of the Rivelin trail and walked the 2.5 miles or so home. Much of the first half of the walk was in quite heavy wet-ish snow and awful visibility, so when this dipper popped up I was not wildly optimistic about getting a good shot. I cranked up the ISO to 800 and this is the result. Way better than I could have anticipated. I got more shots of another bird later, but I think this one is the best. I also got in a shot of a kestrel, but that was thankfully so bad, I didn't have to undergo the agony of choosing
