Skylines

No messing about with accessories today, just white balance. As I learned photography on film it somehow feels like cheating to manipulate an image on the computer. Is it OK to exaggerate the sky colour by altering the white balance after the fact? Or should photos be always right first time?

I find there more I work with digital the more I make my images look like film: grainy, colour-boosted versions of reality.

I'm trying to reconcile capturing what I see with creating attractive pictures. Which is more important? Are they mutually exclusive?
