Morning Adventures

No school today, so we spent the evening last night with good friends over a late dinner. Friends who we seldom see...a very fun and relaxing night it was.

The sun is shining and the sky is about as blue as it can get today. Keep in mind, it is still fairly chilly, but very bearable. The kids headed outside right after breakfast in their pj's, boots, gloves, and hats. I followed soon after and found them climbing on the log pile (sounds safe, doesn't it?) Reminds me of summertime and makes me anxious for it's arrival.

The kids and dogs explored all morning, ending their adventures in the barn. Now the dogs are sound asleep at my feet (while one extremely dirty dog is waiting a bath), and the kids are upstairs in their "secret fort."

Only goal today is to shower at some point...what a fantastic Monday.
