Driving Sleet

It was like driving into night as I headed up the A1 this morning. Darker and darker it got - the wind howled, it started raining, then the rain tried to turn into snow...and failed. Ah, unlovely sleet: neither one thing nor another.

Quite liked this effect it created through the windscreen, though.

And now for the journey home...
