Lightning Strike

Another miserable day today, with low flying grey mist but at least the rain has stayed off for the morning. Busy day too. Coffee this morning with a girl I used to work with. She is visiting from the UK and returns home this afternoon. Nice to have a chat about old times and to cuddle her new baby. Long time since I had a 9 month old on my knee but at least I didn't drop him.

Just time for a quick blip of this fallen warrior which was struck by a bolt of lightning last month. I shall be watching carefully over the spring to see if it survives.
