Unit EC 20: bearing between the alternator (at the left) and low pressure turbine (at the right).
The signs at the alternator indicate that an explosive gas is inside, in this case hydrogen, which is used as a very effective coolant.

Today we heard that the decision has been made: the unit goes into deep preservation, now I fear it will never be in service anymore....
