Ghost of the 'Hut'

This is a picture of the bulkhead above the stairs which needed to be chamfered to conform to building regs.

What angle to make it?

Well, at the 18th century 'Hut' (tavern) which is currently our old home there is such a bulkhead.

So, we measured that and have replicated it in our 21st century new home.

I like the thought that every time I go up and down the stairs in the future there will be a ghost of the 'Hut' lurking up in the ceiling.
