Today we drove all the way back to Picton to take the ferry in the morning. In Kaikoura, we took a longer break to go on a whale watching cruise. I was rather disappointed - the tour in Norway had been much better. We only spotter two sperm whales (one shown in the photo just before diving) and an albatross (my personal highlight of the trip).
