Don't Fear the Reaper

Evening all,

day two of half term. I had to take my dad to hospital for a pacemaker check and sadly i lost him..

No, actually lost him,

he is a little on the confused side and i had to drop him off at the cardiac unit while i parked, (miles away, you can't actually park in hospital grounds, thats a myth.) with strict instructions to wait by the doors until i came back.

Free spirit that he is, he totally ignored/ forgot that and when i got back to where he should be 5 minutes later he'd totally disappeared. So i checked all the toilets, all the snack bars, checked to see if he'd attended his appointment, in desperation i checked with security who kindly checked their footage!!

and finally not 35 minutes of frantic looking later, i found him, on a ward, round the back of a nurses station chatting to the nurses....

and then he told me off for making him late for his appointment!

We have attended the cinema this evening and sat there for one and a half hours with all the other people wearing their 3d glasses and looking like we're at a Roy Orbison fan club meeting, watching 'Gnomeo and Juliet'

I have attempted to recreate a different celluloid offering which,having seen the film tonight, i feel is much more apt, GNOMEO MUST DIE! and when i've finished my drink, he's had it.

A very average film, although the children enjoyed it, but it didn't need to be 3d, it just didn't, honestly, and yes i know my model is a dwarf not a gnome, but its like me......grumpy!
