I love African art.

I have a few pieces, and I love the way that nothing is wasted. A motorbike made of pieces of wire and black cotton scraps. Napkin rings made of springs and wingnuts and small pieces of scrap metal. Aluminium melted down and shaped into a corkscrew and bottle opener shaped like a warthogs tusk.

It reminds me of how much we waste here, that, given the inclination could be turned into ornamental or useful items.

Every single piece that I have makes me smile. :-)
