How nice of the Open University to book a tutorial room within walking distance of this. And what fun to stumble across a piece of felt - dear Joseph Beuys, who was at my first Edinburgh Festival (in 1974), sharing a cage with a coyote - or was it just photos of him doing that in New York ? The felt theme derives from his rescue after being shot down over the Crimea in March 1944 - he was a rear gunner in a Stuka.

I think he'd have approved of whatever it was that caused the fire alarms to go off, and everyone having to evacuate the building. But not for long enough to need swaddling in felt against the mild chill of London in Feburary.

I do enjoy the pomposity of "lens-based media". Is that what we blippers are up to ?
