Privileged Position

My cats were never allowed on the counter tops... until just recently. They are both very elderly now, and are both on special diets and medication. The only way to keep them from eating each other's food is to feed them in separate rooms, which they hate, or to feed one of them on the counter top. The latter is easier, so I lift Willow up for every meal, and lift her down afterwards, as she is too old to jump up or down herself. The things we do for love, eh? (And I won't even mention the whole litter box thing!)
