A Full Bag

Lately we seem to be invaded by Finches of all varieties. It may be simply the time of the year and their migration pattern. It definitely is because of the bag of thistle (niger) seed that we have set out in our mesquite tree. This time we have six birds at one table. Both the Red Finch and the American Goldfinch(es) are in love with the thistle seed.

Today I am starting an experiment of "dumbing down" my camera from 12 mp Raw to 6 mp in .jpg. This is a simulation of the photos I might see with an iPhone. It does give me over 2600 shots on one 8 gb card.
