Stone age banking

Had to drop off a paper letter to bank this evening (at 2315hrs, the joys of being your own boss). All because the legal heads at AIB (and most other banks) can't get their head around the eCommerce Act 2001 and require a 'signature on company letterhead'.

In fairness AIB are not the worst, this is first since I opened the account 2 years ago: Had to leave Ulster Bank because they required me to complete the paper forms almost weekly to effect simple transactions.

When will banks understand 9-5 is working time; most SME's do their admin after hours, particulalry since recession hit and there's less people doing more work.

Our banks are not all bad, just incompetant at governance, must have something in common with our government.
