No point cycling when it's raining?

Well I finally cycled to work in the rain, but perhaps it's not worth the effort. I did get some exercise, but I arrived mud spattered and damp. Plus it was very hard to find anything noteworthy to photograph. Or rather I couldn't see anything because of the rain running down my glasses.

Here are some mallard ducks that are making for a puddle that is developing in the middle of the grass, just beside the cycle route.
