The Holestone

Took a wee walk up to The Holestone at lunchtime with dogs.

This stone sits atop a large rock in the middle of a farmers field.

It is believed to have been used for weddings in the past. Hands would put through the hole and promises would be made.

Today has been the nicest day of the year, the sun was out, it was dry and you might have even got away with not wearing a coat.
