Today we had to take our cat to the vet because she's poorly.

Someone stole our cheque book from the mail and took a lot of money from our account.

And there's water leaking from somewhere in our flat to the neighbour's flat downstairs - though we can't the source.

Surely enough bad stuff for one day?
