3DS in Edinburgh

We came across this promotional stand for the forthcoming Nintendo 3DS in St Andrew's Square this afternoon while up in town. They had a heap of 3DS consoles to try out. I tried my hand at Steel Diver (submarine warfare), Asphalt 3D (car racer), Face Raiders (shooting up your own floating 3D face in a sort of asteroid/space invaders sort of way) and a demo version of Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D. The girls also tried Monkey Ball, Kid Icharus Uprising, Ocarina of Time (Zelda classic) and Super Street Fighter 4.

I have to report that I was rather impressed by the 3D technology, motion sensing and the improved graphics. Now the ear-bashing and pester power-plays have begun.
