Shell and seeds

I've been meaning to try some still life photos for some time... I picked up the shell on Filey sands, while the sunflower seeds are wild bird food, but remind me of Ai Weiwei's artwork at the Tate Modern. I enjoyed trying various compositions of these items (which are on my flickr page).

I was inspired by several still life photos I saw as I spent the day contentedly reading copies of the British Journal of Photography, Ag, and Black and White Photography magazines (all excellent publications, highly recommended).
