A New Turn @_BTO

This holiday I was able to take a lot of bird pictures, which you can see HERE

This has to be one of my favourites, as it was so unexpected. This Turnstone seemed to have taken a lesson from the marauding Herring Gulls along Whitby quayside and was scavanging for scraps at top speed.

A little later we stopped off at Sandsend, for a little scavenging for ourselves. But we did it at Wits End, a place that does a mean Americano and Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake (which has a hint of orange!) Yum.
