Berlin Safari

Saturday in Berlin and rather than a dull open-top bus tour we opted instead for the do-it-yourself Trabi Safari!

This was excellent - a convoy of East German Trabants (think Lada) led by the tour guide's bright pink model, and with tour commentary over the radio. We drove round the main sights such as the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and East side gallery. Most of my time however was spent wrestling with the unintuitive gear box and trying to cope with driving on the wrong (Right) side of the road!

Great fun and highly recommended however.
