This is a personal project, which I have decided to put on a public forum partly to help me stick to it, partly to be able to share it with my friends when I feel ready, and partly because this website looks like a nice place to keep my photos.

I've had a few difficult years; nothing too serious - some difficult studies, a horrible job, juggling two jobs to make ends meet while my fiancé was unemployed, and finally my fiancé breaking up with me. The good parts of my life (of which there are many) have been overshadowed by these little difficulties.

Yesterday I finished the horrible job, and today my ex started moving his things out of my flat. I'm emotionally drained, but feel increasingly positive about the future.

I've decided to join blipfoto to create a photojournal documenting my recovery from these difficulties, a revival of my social life, and - my goal - a return to the positive, life-loving person I was before.

Edit (18 months later):
Well, while I failed miserably at blipping over the last year or so, I certainly succeeded in getting my life and happiness back to where it should all be :) opportunities fell out of the sky and I'm now doing two jobs I love (and out of choice this time), my new bosses are nicer than I ever could have hoped, my social life is back to normal and I'm loving discovering everything my new home city has to offer, and, who'd've thought it, my boyfriend and I got back together, got re-engaged, and we're planning our wedding early next year! Nothing is ever plain sailing but I hope to keep making the most of what I have and looking forward to the future :)
