Manchester, 26 years old - thats me - a guy who loves the city he lives in.... yet has changed drastically within himself over the last few years through the passion of travel and travel photography, along with a new-found education on positive thinking and going for what you want out of life.

The real ME, however, is someone who is driven to capture travel, to get off the beaten track and to immerse myself amongst culture to absorb as much as i can.... and more importantly, to be grateful for everything i experience. This is where my cameras come in. I've only known this 'me' for 3 years, when i travelled S.America for 4 months, South East Asia for 6, with India and Nepal more recently in 2013 for another 3. Iceland is the most recent excursion however, in January 2014 - where again, photography was a major priority. South East Asia was when i really became introduced into photography though.

Now i remember always loving to take a photograph, but it was 2 years ago that i bought my first DSLR, and how it changed me. I found something surfacing from me that i hadn't realised was hidden - a love of capturing that bundle of energy, emotion and diversity within an image and how it would make me feel. Not always the happiness either, but also the depressing side to the countries i visit. To me, it speaks of true life and not just a magazine front cover... I love to travel, theres no doubt about it... and i crave the next photo opportunity, which both together, now essentially form the majority of ME. Both have become my life, and its how i now enjoy living. I, a moth to its flame.

I have also applied my love and passion for photography into a local group here in Manchester, UK, which entails of us joining up twice a month to get out into our city and take a diverse range of images. I also founded it on the basis that it gets like-minded people together who share that one passion for the same thing, which is always a good thing. With over 280 members, its proving to be a hit.

More recently, i have expended energy into helping the homeless of Manchesters streets after witnessing much of it abroad. In December 2013, i asked for volunteers to help me feed, clothe and keep the needy warm this winter. It was an absolute success and it meant a lot to the people we sit down and chatted to. While offering them lamb stew, tea, clothes and sleeping bags. After meeting with Manchester council and a charity, i hope to expand on yet another passion of mine, which i see more as a civil duty.

So, in a nutshell, im a dedicated, cultured, fearless young guy who still tells his mother he wants to become a photographer when he's older.

I have faith in myself, and i have faith in my photography. Heres to my future!
