I live in a tiny village on the Western Cape coast called Rooi Els, about 80km from Cape Town. Here, the mountains meet the Atlantic, the South East wind howls (at least 400 days a year) and the sun shines with magnificence.

I have been taking photographs for most of my adult life - far too many years to recount - and finally have the time to shoot, edit and post a regular stream of images. These come from nearby, local and international travel and are very often black and white.
