I have enjoyed taking photographs ever since I was given a Kodak Instamatic for my 11th birthday, although as you can see, my interest started way before that. Daddy made the toy camera for me because I wanted to be just like him. I share my passion for photography with a lifelong love of making music; competitive target shooting; a spot of genealogy... and our two cats.

I use a Canon 5D MKII supplemented by my 'handbag camera' Panasonic Lumix LX3. My photographic interests range from candid street scenes and travel photography, to garden birds and the local Kent countryside. I work for the Cabinet Office where I occasionally do some corporate photography, covering Ministerial events and taking official portraits. I have also had two successful solo exhibitions, hosted by Bromley Arts Council.

I did a Photo a Day (PAD) project for 3 years from 2006-2009 which you can see here on Pbase: http://www.pbase.com/romy_uk/pad
Join me for the ride as I make a fresh start to photoblogging on Blipfoto in 2013.
