I started taking pictures in mid 70' with Agfamatic 100. Quite soon I got my hands on my father's Nikon and at the end of 70' I bought my first SLR a second hand Nikkormat FTn. The early years I tried to photograph birds and other nature on my trips to neighbourhood fields and woods. I developed b&w rolls myself. My father had a dark room in our apartment and I made some prints too. When I left my childhood home I sold my gear and got a compact camera. In the 80' taking pictures was very occassional. However, after graduating from college I bought a Nikon F301 and a kit lens. 90's went documenting my young family without any ambitious goals for my photography. As late as 2004 I bought my first digital camera Sony V1 and got really excited about the possibilities. Quite soon I upgraded to DSLR.

Since 2005 photography has been my main hobby. I've been rather interested in travelling too and combining these two has created the essence of my photography. I found Blipfoto in the summer 2009 and joined August 2nd. My target was to take picture every day for one year. That was reached August 1st 2010. During that year I've experimented lot's of things and recovered my interest in bird photography. Since that I just was cooling off with occasional blipping. It took me 2 years and 5 month to blip the next 365. Year 2013 was another consecutive 365 blips. Then seven months total break. Starting August 1st 2014 another consecutive year while having an expat year in Norway.

Now back to occasional blipping.

I also have a web site where some of my photos are available.
