I'm twenty-one and people have always told me that my occasional pictures I took (even when I was like 11 or 12) looked cool. But I never really cared, I just asked my father's camera when we were like on vacation and made one or two pics because I saw something cool.
When we made the switch from analog to digital a long time ago, my father bought a Canon Powershot A510. That camera was really amazing cause it had alot of features you normally only find on more expensive reflexes (like custom WB, custom aperture, custom shutter-time etc.). I started experimenting with all the new-found freedom and found myself taking a lot of shots from a scene, changing stuff in between, I really enjoyed it.
Over the following years, I got more and more hooked on photography. Although this was getting kinda extreme at some points (for example, on our trip to Slovenia 2 years ago, I took approximately 1100 pics in under two weeks, and remember that it was still my father's camera).
12 may 2008: some guys broke into our car and stole the camera and my father's laptop. I was shocked.
Some time later (around June) my father bought my mother a Nikon Coolsomething for her birthday, which we took on our vacation. I was so disturbed by the low quality of everything of the camera. So when I came back I bought, out of pure frustration, my very own Canon Eos 450d with 18-55mm kit lens which I totally LOVE.

That will do for the story how I got into photography.

Present day.
The time I'm not working for school, I fill up with stuff like webdesign, webdevelopment (mostly PHP), listening to music and of course running around making pics.

Oh and I LOVE skiing!
