Blip and Beyond....
I never realized how egotistical the title sounded when I put it as the title...
I assure you, whoever is you is, that is not how I intended myself to sound.
I don't consider myself to be that talented. Occasionally, through my effort I find that I am blessed in the love of photography, and the environment in which I surrounded. Blip was a necessary ingredient in my desire to see that this love is taken to another level.
I loved the accolades, hell what human wouldn't. Unfortunately I ran into the same things issues here that I ran into in high school. I HATED high school. Blip gave me cause to question why I hated high school? Was it the stringent guidelines, the expectations, the cliques that seemed to emerge from those expectations, cheating and backstabbing...Aside of instilling in me the knowledge that I can take a pretty damn good picture, Blip gave me cause to question whether we move beyond that mentality.
Funny how I still deep inside desire the accolade...
I enjoyed several blippers...they are truly passionate about this expression of art. God bless.

I don't think that sounds egotistical but more like the desire to explore and try new things, like you have been doing. You have taken some amazing pictures and rightly deserved the accolades.Everyone needs a bit of morale boosting at times but that's not vanity, it's the need for reassurance. I suppose the dangers of something like blipping is that it could become very competitive and overly dependent on the opinions of others - that for me would take away all the joy of it.
I think I understand what you are saying.
It's good to try new things and if you need some encouragement - here it is!

Relax and enjoy. Your blips are excellent. Including this little guy, love the colours here. Nice one.
