Wednesday 27 July 2011: Behind closed doors

Took a trip to town to take advantage of a new store's grand (re-!)opening sale. The store has just re-located to new premises but, as Kiwis will know, Briscoes never miss a chance to have a sale! Scored myself a lovely new rubbish bin. Don't laugh - I needed one...........kind of!

On the way home I spotted a bit of a grungy area off a car park and decided it had the potential to throw up an interesting image. Right at the entrance to the grunge area though was this door - a not-now-used doorway to a health/massage place (I think). The looks from passers by was amusing - and the nice thing about a wide angle lens is that they have no idea they're part of the image......which I like.

Managed another short stint in the garden but still heaps to do. The nice thing is that after the dreadful southern storm of a few days ago, the weather is now glorious - mild, sunny and calm. Perfect.
