Arria and the Lady

Well, who would have thought that after all that horrid, horrid weather we've been having that today would be, well... wow! Not a cloud in the sky, it was absolutely beautiful.

The perfect day for my first ever blipmeet with the lovely Damnonii. Knowing the best way to any Scotsman's heart is through his stomach after an initial natter I was treated to a fab lunch. Mmmm...

Having met the lady, it was off to meet Arria. Diane had already told me all about this Andy Scott sculpture and in fact had blipped her before. Today was just the perfect day for her to shine in all her glory and the visit didn't disappoint. She is a stunning piece of art.

Then it was back to the house for another natter, a decidedly lengthy natter, where poor Diane learnt that once I start talking there is very little that can stop me! Apologies to D. and A. for their late dinner as a result!

Thanks for a wonderful day Diane. We must definitely do it again soon and thanks so much for the pressie!

It was a tough decision on a choice of shot today, but I eventually cut it down to two in the end. This one won the day as the composition not only showed off the sculpture but also that wonderful sky in all its glory! The other shot can be seen here.

Last day of the holidays tomorrow. Back to work on Monday. Haha, know I shouldn't complain since almost everyone else is already back at work! Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!
