The second half of life..

Lake Pearson

I slept like a baby last night - pitch blackness all around, a frost when I woke - and a back almost free of pain.

It's about 3 hours or 240 kms from Christchurch to Greymouth. I started the day well along the route and was only about 150kms from Greymouth. It took me 9 hours to make the crossing though and I loved every minute of it!

This is Lake Pearson - one of the many, many places I stopped and enjoyed along the way. Once again, it was a tough choice for a blip today - a beautiful kea? More stunning scenery? Moutain layer silhouettes? Rivers? Bridges? No, the lake and autumn leaves won out.
