Surf Dude

I had a lovely walk with Louis this morning. We went over the hill into Rottingdean, walked through the village and down the beach. It was sunny, although the wind was quite chilly, but the waves were perfect for the wind surfers, so I watched them riding the waves.

We then carried on along the Undercliff walk and met a couple with two Bichons called Harry and Sally. Louis had a great time chasing and playing with them - since moving here he really has learnt to play with other dogs. When we were in Belgium he was very rarely off his lead, and was quite defensive when he met other dogs, but here he's off his lead all the time at the beach and in the fields and he's become really socialised. He's learnt to bark at the other dogs, not in an aggressive way, but in a playful way and you can tell he's really enjoying himself, it's lovely to see.

I had a quick sandwich when I got home and then I went to Chris's to have my hair done. My other friend Karen who introduced me to Chris, was also booked in an hour later so it was a nice relaxing, sociable afternoon while being pampered. I was having highlights so I asked him to do it a little lighter this time, and I'm really pleased with it.

I've asked Alan if he fancies taking me out tonight as I always have my hair done on a night where we're not going anywhere and it seems such a waste. So I'd better get the dinner cooked and then we can go out.

Have a nice evening and I'll catch up with you later.
