WATER

Usual trip to Morrisons this morning with my friend Jan. As well as my usual shopping I picked up some extra items ready for the weekend. My daughter and son in law arrive on Friday for a visit. We are hoping to have a BBQ on Saturday. Its a yearly occurrence but every year it has rained. Fingers crossed for a dry day this year.

This afternoon I sorted out Neil's bedroom ready for my visitors. Moved all Neil's personal items out, made the bed and tidied up.

Then I did a bit of gardening. Earlier in the day it had been dull and it even rained off and on. But then it got really warm and sunny so I took the opportunity to do a bit of weeding and trimming.

This evening I have been ironing and almost forgot about my blip. The August Forum Challenge today is Water Wednesday. I remembered that we had an old Ladybird book with the title Water so I dug it out. My blip shows a couple of pages. Look LARGE to see them better. The book was published in 1973. We have lots of Ladybird books from when the children were little. Mostly bought second hand from charity shops and car boot sales.
