Our luckless punks have finally seen their potential new drummer arrive, and Sidney isn't happy......

Sidney: Santa? You want Santa as our drummer? Are you a can short of a six pack?

Tim There are lots of reasons why this is a good idea. The first one is that he's free 364 evenings of the year, we just can't gig Xmas eve. Secondly he;s cheap. It's come to his attention that Christmas is rapidly featuring him less and less. Today for instance was so called 'Black Friday' where many sane and reasonable people were willing to queue to get into cheap supermarkets to buy goods they perhaps didn't really need even cheaper. I saw one lady fighting for a TV with another lady, now I dare bet that TV wasn't a gift for her Mum or Daughter, but in fact another materialistic possession for herself. Sickening.... Seriously today epitomised everything wrong with Christmas.

Sidney: What's your point? How does this relate to Santa?

Tim: Ah of course. Well its becoming increasingly obvious to everyone, including children that Santa is in fact a load of old bollocks. They pick their presents from numerous telly adverts and now they get to wait in the car whilst Dad crushes someones skull to fetch them the new bike that this jolly fellow is supposedly dropping down the chimney. My nephew will probably wonder how he's coming down the chimney seeing as they're gas, and how is he going to get in the house if his mum spent three hours in the cold when his Dad locked him out? Why is it Amazon can't deliver his Ipad directly under the tree but old furry features back there can? Santa is old hat and unless we give him a new identity then I'm afraid he'll be made redundant.

Sidney: Made redundant by capitalism? Now that's punk as feck. I'm up for it.

Tim: Perhaps though, and this is most important of all..... if you search 'Lego Drummer' on ebay this is pretty much all you get.

Sidney: Oh. I see if you search large grey Lego base there are plenty of options?

Tim: Correct.

What will happen in tomorrows episode? Will the guys reveal the fact the I managed to get a branch at Howdens, and from Monday will officially be Huntingdon manager?
