We knew there were wren eggs in an old hand pump we have in the yard. Then we heard the babies chirping from inside the top. This morning Ollyvah spotted this one in the grass, along with two others. The mom and pop were screeching in the nearby tree to get away. Ollyvah shooed the babies into the brush near their mama.

My favourite is when the parents fly low to the ground away from the chicks, almost as if to say "Over Here! Come and get us" making the predator move away from the babies.
