I have reached the milestone of 100 blips today, wow, what a journey! I thought I would write a few words about myself to fill you in as I really like to read a bit about others in this virtual world of friendship and support. I am a beginner in the photography world and started with a iPad, now have an upgrade to Nikon D80 which I am eager to learn more about. Blipping every day is the best way to learn and of course the fabulous photographs I see on a daily basis give me inspiration.

I am a 59 and a bit year old mother of 4. My husband and I have been married for 38 years and we have 7 beautiful grandchildren. We live in a small city 200 kilometres west of Sydney in Australia.

I was introduced to blip by my sister isbi and it is interesting to see her daily journal. I work full time and travel around a lot and often don't give blipping a thought until I arrive home late at night wondering what will I do today? The journal will be about my daily life and there will be no rhyme or reason for my choices for the day. I like gardening and have a cat and dog. Our city is old by Australian standards so there will be a mix of the roads I travel on, animals and flowers and the local architecture.

I have just published blip number 400. I am still enjoying seeing many beautiful blips each day but seem to have less time to comment. I still visit and sprinkle some stars so you know I appreciate the people and beauty we are surrounded by. This is a great website and the people make it that way.
