At the moment I am taking photographs using my mobile phone. At some point I want to get a digital camera and would like to improve my skills.

I don't imagine for one minute that I will be able to truly compete with many here - the standard is very high, but I really like the idea of having to choose just one picture to post and will try to do so most days.

The bee is an orange bottomed bumble bee.
