I don't make New Years resolutions, but I do like to set myself some goals/challenges and in 2013, a 365 photo journal is one of them. Having completed the year with no gaps, I'm hooked on the whole photography/journal aspect of blip and am tentatively planning to do it all again in 2014. I say tentatively because it can be very demanding and I'm not sure I can do a 2nd year with no gaps. That said, I'm probably less fussed about gaps this year than I was last year, or at least i need to be :-)

I relied quite heavily on PhotoShop in 2013. I work from home most days, so there are many days when the scenery doesn't change much and there is a lack of interesting things to shoot. I plan to try and rely less on PhotoShop this year. We'll see.

Failed - I simply have to admit that photography and Photoshop go together for me.

Update for 2015 - I fell short of 365 pictures in 2014 and pretty much at the last hurdle in late November and December, but life got in the way and I finally made the break, i.e. accepted that it was OK to miss a day. Very cathartic, and I'm hoping that will carry on into 2015. Creative images when I have the time and inspiration, journalistic images when there is something to photograph and in between, nothing! That's a healthy approach me thinks.
