I'm a self-taught photographer. My interest in photography started at young age, in a blacked-out kitchen helping my father develop and print black and white images.

With my first SLR camera, a heavy, manual Praktica, I developed an interest in landscape photography taking images in my native Norfolk and on holidays to Scotland.

After a few years in the photographic wilderness, I rekindled my interest in photography in the early 2000s. In 2008 I completed a 365 project, taking a photo a day for a year.

The 365 project captured my love for the creativity that photography offers. While I still enjoy landscape photography, I now increasingly seek out detail and fleeting moments in the rural and urban landscape.

I'm a member of Brighton and Hove Camera Club and contributor to Sussexphoto.com. I was awarded my LRPS from the Royal Photographic Society in July 2011.

In January 2013 I decided to embark on another 365 Photo a Day project. This time I'm just using my iPhone.
