I took my first photos in 1958, began photographing more seriously in 1962 and became professional in 1966. I call myself a photographer. If my work is art to somebody, I´m pleased. My favourite subject is people, but (in now digital era) I shoot almost everything, that moves or is still.
For two years I´ve had the lifetime artists pension from the State of Finland. So now I´m doing all kind of projects, part of them retrospective and rest photographing many kind of subjects, which will eventually come out in form of exhibitions and books.
These Blipfotos serve me as "finger rehearsals" (just like musicians do every day) to keep my sensitivity for those more important projects.
