My husband is soon to embark on a new job overseas, taking him all the way to Nepal. I thought that a single picture, taken every day, would be an ideal way of letting him know how things are on the other side of the world...and so that he can see Lottie and Pippa grow up and Rags grow into oldmanhood!  

Update 29.8.11 - after a wonderful month in Kathmandu, my husband is in the swing of his new job and I'm home to return to mine. No more naughty monkey shots for a few months!  

Update 30.12.11 - a perfect Christmas in the Annapurna Sanctuary...finished my doctorate and now embarking on the start of a photography degree...I'm sure I can squeeze it into my life...somewhere?!

Update 22.07.12 The first year apart is over and we are ready to embark on year two...but I have another summer in Kathmandu to enjoy first! Time for a name and journal change. ;0)

Update 28.06.13 Paul has finished two years and is due home tomorrow ready to start a new job back in the UK. I also have a new job, my first headship, so we have exciting times ahead. And time for another journal name change. Here starts the rest of forever...

Update 28.09.14 Paul headed out to a new job in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this month. We are apart again, which brings heartache, but he has a superb challenge on his hands. I have my own first Headship so life is very busy!

24.12.14 The start of my thirteen months of my fortieth birthday challenges. 40 challenges, things I have never done before, which will keep me very occupied!

01.02.16 Paul came home from KSA and we are enjoying being back together in our home after six years of working apart! We celebrate our thirteenth anniversary this summer and seven years of marriage.

01.01.17 I finished my headship and have embarked on a sabbatical year, studying for an MBA and three other qualifications. Looking forward to a year of learning and running my own consultancy business before deciding what to do in 2018!

01.01.18 I have started a new job in the luxury jewellery industry. I’m still finishing my MBA in my spare time but have this new challenge to get my teeth into. How exciting!

01.01.18 I’ve always had chapters in my life, but now I feel I’m embarking on the second book in my life story. This new book finds me unexpectedly moving forwards on my own, but to an exciting future filled with unknown adventures and opportunities. I’ll raise a glass to new places, people, experiences and, I hope, a lot of fun and laughter.
