This place has become a welcome friend; a daily task that urges me through a day which could now fall sedentary quite easily. I’m glad I’m here. I know my photography has improved over the years I’ve been here, and blipfoto has become my de-facto daily journal too. I hope it’s not too boring…

I began with a combination of Canon dSLR and iPhone, but at the turn of 2019 into 2020 I jumped ship, sold off most of my Canon kit and went to Sony. That’s involved a new learning curve which while not entirely unexpected has been steeper than expected. But I’m getting there.

I am immersed in social media but find I am increasingly reluctant to engage, nor sort through the interminable and highly directed advertising. It is such a blessing to have none here. I'm happier away from the computer, but find myself too often in front of it.

I have a long standing if slightly self regarding web site at https://rosher.net/ where you’ll find out far more about me than you wanted. I'm on Flickr, Facebook and Twitter, but check the previous paragraph... I've met some of you now, and you don't seem any more or less mad than I. At times, beer has been involved, and this is always "a good thing".
