Photography is a means to an end for me, not the end itself.  I enjoy taking pictures but I'm not interested enough to learn all the finer details.  The 'end' for me is to take a few decent photos and keep a record of what is going on in my life, so my Blips are more of a Blog or diary than any attempt at anything too artistic.  A North Easterner by birth and a Southerner by work, a banker by trade but never one of those that earned obscene amounts, and now retired to North Norfolk.  Most shots will be on my compact Olympus or my phone but for any decent photo opportunities I prefer the Canon DSLR.
