*After 231 days of blipping I have fully embraced shooting in manual mode. At 231 days, my much used and ill treated camera was accidentally dropped in the river, taking with it my 18-300 vibration reduction lens. I replaced the camera with the newer version of the same model. I am hoping to be able to replace the lens at some point, but for now am working with a pair of bundled lenses that came with the camera.
